Why I'm building Zliding
TikTok is where people discover products, and photo posts put it within reach of a founder with no content team. Autopilot creates the posts and publishes them for you.
I’m building Zliding because I think TikTok can help people discover a SaaS or an app, and because most founders will never get there if it means filming videos every week. Photo posts remove most of that cost. What is left is deciding what to say and keeping a steady rhythm, and that is the part Zliding is for. This is the short version of why, and of how Autopilot does the work while you keep the last word.
TikTok is a place where people look for products
We tend to think of TikTok as entertainment. Pew Research Center asked U.S. adults about it: 37% say they use TikTok, up from 21% in 2021, and among the adults who use it, 62% say one reason is to look at product reviews or recommendations. Those figures come from Pew’s “8 facts about Americans and TikTok”, published on 2 March 2026 and checked again on 6 October 2026.
Read them for what they are. They describe adults in the United States, not your customers, and they do not say that a post will bring anyone to your product. They do say that people open TikTok with products in mind, which is a good enough reason to test it.
The cost was the problem, not the channel
For a founder with a launched product and a small team, video is the expensive part. You have to film, edit, appear on camera and do it again next week. Many sensible founders look at that list and decide it is not for them.
TikTok photo posts change the maths. A photo post is a set of images that people swipe through, with text on the slides and a caption, instead of a video. You can explain a customer problem with a few lines and show your product with a screenshot. Nobody has to film anything. I wrote about the format in what TikTok photo mode is.
It is still work, and that is where Zliding comes in
Cheaper does not mean free. You still have to decide which customer problem each post is about, design the slides, write the words and keep going after the first week. For a founder who also ships the product, answers support and sells, that is where the habit usually breaks.
Zliding starts from your website. You share the URL, and Autopilot creates a first set of TikTok photo posts that name a customer problem, show how your product helps, or try a different message. You can read them, change the words and the images, and decide which ones are good enough to use. The point is to give you something real to react to instead of a blank page.
The first set is only the start. Keeping a rhythm is what breaks, so Autopilot keeps your calendar stocked: on a paid plan, it creates a new post every day, kept a week ahead, without you asking. With automatic publishing on, it also publishes each post to TikTok for you, so the rhythm no longer depends on how busy your week is.
Autopilot publishes, and you keep the last word
Autopilot can publish to TikTok for you. On a paid plan you turn on automatic publishing and a post goes out each day. You can edit any post at any time, and if you would rather look at each one first, you can switch to drafts and publish from TikTok yourself. I built it this way for three reasons.
- It is your account and your voice. A post speaks for your company, in public. That is why every post is editable, and why each one comes with a note on why it fits your product, so you can judge it quickly.
- A post makes claims about your product. Only you know whether every line is true today. Posts start from your website and from real customer problems, and you can change any line whenever you want.
- It keeps the work small. Autopilot does the creating and the posting, so what is left is the part only you can do: checking that your product is described the way you would describe it.
This is a trade-off, and I do not pretend otherwise. Other tools publish to many accounts or on several platforms, and I have written about how they differ in the comparison with ReelFarm. Zliding is for the founder of a SaaS or an app who wants Autopilot to do the work and still be able to step in. I’m also working towards realistic videos with people and more formats, because some products explain themselves better outside a photo post. That is an intention, not a date.
Who I am building it for
Founders and small teams with a launched SaaS or app, some first users and an audience that could plausibly be on TikTok. People who are building a product and would like to test a message this week without turning into a content team. If that sounds like you, I would like Zliding to make the first step feel small. If you sell to an audience that is nowhere near TikTok, it will not be the right tool, and I would rather you know that early.
What I am not promising
I cannot promise reach, views or signups, and neither can anyone else. TikTok might not be where your audience spends time. Zliding helps you test that with a small, regular effort, and the answer you get back, whichever it is, is useful. Part of the reason to start with a few honest posts is to find out before you invest more.
Where to go from here
If you want to see what the process looks like, the how it works page walks through it in three steps, and the first two weeks, with 14 posts, are free, with no credit card. If you want to know who is behind Zliding, the about page has the short version.
Thank you for reading. I’m Dídac, and I’m building this in Barcelona.
